I'm looking for something less vague, but good luck.
It would help if you talked a bit about yourself, if you're looking for common ground then having everyone potentially interested messaging you is what's going to happen because they're all going to be looking for the common ground and most likely not finding a spark when you respond.
But if you take the initiate and give it a personal touch then you're more likely to get responses from people who are actually interested, people who may see a bit of a spark and who share that common ground based on what you've said.
