Looking for an editor with experience in non-human and plot ideation

Hello, I'm working on my first story and there are a few things I would like help on. More specifically plot and grammer (such as words better to use in place of others, etc.). The story is called "The Change" it is about a 23 year old woman named Destiny, who has no clue on much of her past. she was put in a foster home at the very young age of 3 months old. She was told that her parents thought it was for the best; and that's all she is aware of. Destiny stays in an apartment with her dog Lily; just a few blocks from her work. She is completely intrigued with a man who shows up at the Cafe she works at. This story switches POV's every chapter (ex. chapter 1 is in Destinys POV, and Chapter 2 is in Felix's, the man who frequently visits the cafe). Chapter 6 has already been published and I like where 7 and 8 are going, I just feel as though its a bit stiff. I could use some guidance please, and thank you.
