I have no interest in male authors. Am I alone?

It was a statement of personal preference that the OP put out there--led off with it. "Fine" is an obvious answer to that. If you don't think so, then fine for you; I don't care. :D

Ends with "Am I alone?" "Fine" doesn't answer that.

If he doesn't like male authors, that's his right. It's strange to ignore half the authors or more of all time, but it's his right. To each their own.

I guess you haven't heard about the device called a rhetorical question. Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

Are you being paid by how many posts to can extend this silly thread with nonsense? :D

I know all about rhetorical questions & facts, like that your question doesn't make any sense. (I believe the word is spelled, "toucan", like the guy on the kids; cereal commercials.)

OK, sorry, you're boring.

"Fine" is how my wife ends an argument that I won.

"Whatever" is how I end an argument she wins.

Funny how for all of the classic male complaint that women don't say what they mean, sometimes we men don't, either. But don't tell anyone that I revealed this. Male Headquarters will have me hanged, drawn, and quartered. ;)

Sure men do it too. That's why after awhile in a relationship the words no longer mean anything, its the tone that you have to interpret.

I find this a bit interesting. I know of two Lit authors I have done recordings for of their stories that are men using a woman's name, since they felt they'd get higher views if they wrote as a woman and from a woman's point of view.

My mom used to be a voracious reader until her eyesight became too bad to read books anymore, and she almost exclusively read books by male authors, she mostly disliked female authors way of writing and I'd say 90% of the books she read were all by male authors.

I prefered female ones myself, but I was mostly into romance novels and celebrity auto bios, which were pretty well female. I did read some of the books of my mom by her favorite male authors, John Jakes being the most prolific in her library.

You know, it's more fundamental than all this: I'm not remotely interested in what men think, say or write. Just being honest.

I reiterate: What an amazing response to this thread! Oh, luv your site by the way Shazza... x

And you have no idea what you are talking about. Nor do you know what I am talking about.

Neither of us are talking. However, I knew what I wrote about. Also, nobody (including you) ever knows what you're writing about, & only you ever care.

"It would 'bother' me to be aroused by something written by a man" This is like the definition of homophopia, By the way, a phobia is not a hatred but a "fear" I think that is what you mean by "bother me" So tell me: If you are watching hard core porn, how do you not look at the big fat dick sliding into the pussy? And how does the sight of the cock fucking her not turn you on? And if the sight of the cock fucking her turns you on, oh oh watch it you might be "bothered".

It sounds as if words can be tainted by who types them. Don't you see that your premise is so ridiculous it must reveal some deep seated.. . something inside you. like the guy who tells the racist joke but doesn't realize it?

This post includes the definition of run-on sentence, lie, typo, & a million other mistakes.

Meaning it was written by someone who must visit Lit to see how to properly spell things, & because they believe they are the best at writing sentences that are nit at all true.

If the message were hidden, that would not be a way to read it, idiot.

But if it's not written by a person only aged under 18, it goes in you're junk mail anyway.

I agree. I read the original first post and I didn't detect anything "homophobic" there about the poster's preference for female authors. Some people just prefer authors that are male or female, in general and in non-erotica.

I certainly agree with this. The issue for me is that the OP is only fooling itself. There's no real way of discerning male from female authors on Literotica no matter what they claim to be in the account name. (In the mainstream, I have two female pen names, for instance--just because of the categories I write in in those names.)

Isn't a hot story just a hot story? I mean, assuming you are reading something that interests you...If the scenario turns you on, then it does. Why even look at who the author is, unless you want to read more of their stuff.
