Summer Title Challenge

no one likes a show off :p

just got something in. it's not rocket science and it's not pretty. :rolleyes:

All of mine definitely need TLC; they are the furthest thing from poetic.

More like Idea Vomit.

Does anyone know or suspect what time zone Trix is in? I'm looking forward to grand exposure of these poems.

I'm not a morning person y'all, though I do usually rise earlier than this. I'll have the pieces and the list of poets up soon.

Here are the challengers:

AlwaysHungry
Angeline
Butters
Champagne
EllenMore
GreenMountaineer
HarryHill
Magenetron
Pelegrino
Remec
StlGoddessFreya
Todski
Todski
UnderYourSpell

Trix, here I go again with the N00b questions: what is the protocol for commenting on a poem? Do I just quote the post where it appears, and let fly with the comments?

And we fairies, that do run
 By the triple Hecate’s team
 From the presence of the sun,
 Following darkness like a dream,
 Now are frolic. Not a mouse
 Shall disturb this hallowed house.
 I am sent with broom before
 To sweep the dust behind the door.

Who the fuck is Magenetron?

He sounds like a magician's robot assistant.

:mad:

I'm NOT a morning person :p. the list is fixed, the entries are up, I'm not telling who wrote how many, though y'all can fess up iffn ya wanna

Have at it...

Poem #1 was my favorite of the first dozen or so because of its competency at the basics.
Poem #2's ode to Robert Heinlein was amusing
Poem #14 is the cleanest, cleverest and most complete production.
Poem #15 has some very nice lines but begins the same as many of the others with the doors being doors

wild guessing:

no.2 = Harry

no.3 = Always Hungry (though i did suspect H for a while, due to content)
ok, got that wrong - so maybe ellen moore or another gm-er?

no.5 = todski

no.6 = either champers/ellen or freya

no.7 = mags

no.9 = greenmountaineer

no.12 = angeline

no.13 = magnetron or pelegrino

no.16 = Harry/Remec?

no.17 = remec/tods

hmmn, some of those are likely way off :D
