Thumbs up

"When you think of all the conflicts we have - whether those conflicts are local, whether they are regional or global - these conflicts are often over the management, the distribution of resources. If these resources are very valuable, if these resources are scarce, if these resources are degraded, there is going to be competition."

"We are very fond of blaming the poor for destroying the environment. But often it is the powerful, including governments, that are responsible."

Am I the only one that thinks Jon Snow's voice has completely changed since S2?

Also, the torrent on TPB has 112,000 seeds and 44,000 leeches.

Office and Stamps.com both reloaded... but I lost about 400 contacts and a year's worth of emails. I think I may hire someone to retype all the contacts back in.

I had my contacts list backed up, but I backed it up to the desktop of the dead computer. D'oh!

Pull the HD out of the dead comp and turn it into an external drive.

I don't know how. Someone here tried to tell me a couple of years ago, and I bought the thing they recommended, but it didn't work.

One of my clients is a computer company, and he said he could recover the data, but then he'd also see all my self-porn and that may sour the business relationship.

I may give it another go. The email files are pretty important. I save 99% of my stuff on dropbox, but that 1% is probably the 1% that will come back to bite me.

It's incredibly easy and takes about five minutes to do. I've got a 500 GB drive lying around that I use as an external backup. The enclosure cost me nine quid from Amazon.

I love random, wishing someone random would walk through my door right about now. Then do something random. So bored haha but at least I've discovered these boards to entertain me
