Busy, busy this weekend- I know it seems like though I'm doing nothing but posting on here, but hey
Thank you
I haven't treated myself to all new set- like- ever. Amazon has some fab deals, btw.

i don't think that at all . . . it's something i do, too, have the puter on and inbetween getting on with things i might drop a post or two. doesn't mean to say other stuff's not getting done, and it only takes a few seconds to type short posts like these.

amazon will have to wait till payday besides which, i have more towels and sheets than is good for me atm

Exactly! Multitasking, innit.

Haaa, lucky you. Scottish cunting Power will have most of my pay day joy, I'm pretty sure I'm paying for the heating of half of the estate

british gas is not better, but i blame the weather - when it's cold like this it really hits my purse. ah well, 'tis what it is and i have a roof over my head, food, a cosy bed and the internet. oh, and my sons, best not forget them

i would argue it took the entire mcvities empire.

there was almost glee in the ''i win! i win! you can't top that!'',
like she just managed a q & z on a triple word score.

and it is heart breaking.

truly

if it's true, then heartbreaking for all those concerned. a 90% recovery rate, though? or maybe that's all childhood cancers.

if not, it's dreadful that a person feels so driven to post this way. her options, of course, were limited by the pre-emptive guessing of others here as to where she can go next with her insatiable need for drama.

Things women can do, eh?
Had to move mine once, one of the little feet got caught on the edge of the lino- I got so pissed off after a while I almost flung the bitch across the kitchen. I did cry out of anger, I admit!
Your plumbing skills impress me even more so

There is one thing I can't do- it's to put and take things out of the attic. Humiliating, but I'm 5ft 2 inches and only own a 3 step ladder.

we can do stuff - mostly because we have to, but we can still do it. just like men can take care of and raise kids when they have to

beej, you need a bigger stepladder i use mine to reach high enough to cut the trees back, paint the high places, and get stuff in and out of the loft.

or find someone who has the reach already?

Yesterday, in the grocery store, a woman asked my wife if she could borrow me. She needed a can from back of the top shelf. As you advised, she found 'someone who has the reach.'

try, people such as myself on a low income have always been hit by the winter prices if the weather's as bad as it's been. in the summer, i pay very little. it balances out - just as i need to arrange with my company to take an average reading and pay the same amount monthly instead of the high/low i do now.
