Finding an older man isn't that hard, some of you women have to realize with a higher minimal age takes more people out of the prospective pool and thus takes longer to find a guy in the requested age range.

Back in my xwife and single days I found escorts were cheaper then being a sugar daddy. Girls looking for sugar daddies tend to be like paying for it but then they don't want to play. How to find older men:

1) Create an online profile in which you say you're looking for younger men.

2) Wait for the older man butthurt to reach your inbox.

How do I know? I once had an online profile in which I clearly state that I'm looking for younger men because my older man needs were met by my husband (who's 16 years older than I am) and another person (I'm in a consensually nonmonogamous marriage). I never encountered so much triggered old-man butthurt in all my life.
 
I totally understand. I'm in my early 40's but look much younger. I prefer men, salt and pepper look, in their mid-50's. I don't need someone to support me financially. I struggle to find these men.

I have only ever dated older men as they are my preference.

Generally, I find when you see someone you like I.e. In a bar etc and get the chance to chat with him you are naturally different; more interested, open body language, flirty and the usual signals we send.

On Lit why not create an ad? Sure you will get a lot of crap but at least there is the possibility of finding the type of older man you want as long as the ad is specific.

Personally, I don't analyse why I like older men but I have spent a lot of time thinking about what specific qualities I like in older men. Sometimes these thoughts go further and I question why men my age or younger do not posses these qualities... The simple answer is some do but I won't be interested unless the man is older - I'm attracted to older men in a similar way as some people preferring blondes.

I agree with one of the responses, some men at the age group you mentioned may have an erection by simply telling them how nice they look in their clothes. How about an approach as simple as below (it worked on me in a previous occasion).

First, survey the environment. The environment doesn't have to be a bar, or airport, or ???. Then pick your target, and ... approach with the following

Choice 1:
...Hi, how are you? (wait for response ...if the response is not positive, move on). If positive, then

OR

Choice 2:
