I want to tap all this poetic prowess as a brain trust. I have put together a new ensemble, old experienced players like myself. The name should be something that I can plausibly sell to club managers, yet one that has some originality and pizazz. The band is a traditional power trio, guitar, bass, and drums, which will be playing mainly blues and funk -- we do a lot of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Stevie Wonder, a little Santana, some reggae and miscellaneous.

Let the names begin.
i love the sounds of santana and stevie wonder, and the below might be more suited to metallic rock but i'll type whatever pops up in my head. i'm sure they'll be of no help whatsoever :)

One Step ahead of the Devil

Devil may Cry

Windy City Blues

Loose 'Gators (sorry :)

Stalkin' Sister Jane

Stolen Strings

Steel strings 'n' Thunder

ok, i should stop now because. yeah. because. because i don't know what the hell i'm doing :D

I should mention that I decided on a name yesterday, but don't let me interrupt the brainstorming.

I can understand the severity of your doubt. My name is not funny at all. It's "Uprising". Tentatively.

I think it needs a little more oomph.

Boners Uprising

See ..... if you say it real fast, it kinda sounds like Boner Surprising.
