CHICAGO (Sun Times Media Wire) – Four men were killed and at least 33 other people have been wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday evening.
In the most recent fatal shooting, a man was killed and a teenage boy was critically wounded in a Sunday night shooting in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
They were playing dice in the 1800 block of South Springfield about 9:45 p.m. when two males approached and fired shots, police said.
The 19-year-old man was shot multiple times and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The 16-year-old boy was shot in the head and taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
