A little whimsy every now and then is one thing, weird is something else. The bow "lips" are semi-amusing; the rest of it— I could do without.

I doubt the Kulluk caused anyone to spill a drop of coffee. You should hear the stories about putting her into her mooring last September.

Now that I've looked, I must agree. The ancient Phonecians put eyes on their vessels to look for fair winds, but lips?... the old gods must be angry over that one.
