Dinged for writing porn?

If I want a plot, I'll read a novel. I come here for the porn.
I have purchased cemetery plots. They don't read well. ;)

There are plots and there are plots. We have 6 or 7 possible story arcs:

1. Rags to riches – a steady rise from bad to good fortune: /
2. Riches to rags – a fall from good to bad, a tragedy: \
3. Icarus – a rise, then a fall in fortune: /\
4. Man in a hole – fall, rise: \/
5. Oedipus – a fall, a rise, then a fall again: \/\
6. Cinderella – rise, fall, rise: /\/
and
7. Flatliner – no real change: ___

What is a plot?
Plot refers to the sequence of events inside a story where each event affects the next through the principle of cause-and-effect. The causal events of a plot can be thought of as a series of events linked by the connector "and so". Plots can vary from simple structures—such as in a traditional ballad—to complex interwoven structures sometimes referred to by the term imbroglio. In the narrative sense, the term highlights important points which have consequences within the story...​

Even a straight-on stroker can have a plot. It needn't be complex / twisted, though trickiness is fun too. But just jump in. Something happens, leading to fucking, and a pause, and more fucking, and some sort of consequence. That's all that's needed.

I'm glad to see number 7 listed. When I was training in creative writer, change was being insisted when I thought that "no change despite everything" was a legitimate and instructive ending option.
