It's not about being a snitch. It's about respecting the rules and the people who run this site. This site is here and we can use it for free, and we should take that as a privilege and not license to do whatever you can get away with. There are plenty of sites that take the subject matter that Lit doesn't, so there's no need to break their rules or circumvent them.

I don't want rules breakers on the same site I frequent.
I don't mind scat and other weird shit, I only want Literotica to be absolutely free of child porn and all other vile abuse.
If you read any of my posts you would have seen that I have no objection to the story being taken down on the grounds of it breaching Lit's rules. As I said Lit's rules are Lit's rules. I may think that they are wrong but, hell, it's not my site, and lit's rules are a lot less restrictive and hypocritical than some other sites.
My objection is to the hysteria and hateful comments directed at the author. Dark Pleasures calls him a pedophile and then uses the oldest trick in the propaganda handbook, the out of context quote, to justify this.
Does he brand Vladimir Nabukov as a pedophile. In 1955, he wrote a novel in which a 39 yr old man had a sexual relationship with a more than willing 12 yr old (in the UK that is still considered rape). The book features in almost every, 100 best English Language Novels of all time, list.
In worth Fighting for I wrote "I felt the glass from the window hit me as the side of his head exploded spraying blood and brain matter all over the kitchen wall." Does this make me a gun toting gore monger? The only gun I've ever owned was a .177 air rifle.
Writing about something is one thing, doing it is another thing entirely.
If a story breaches the guidelines the solution is simple, you click on report, fill in the form and if Laurel agrees the story gets taken down. There is absolutely no need for vilification of the author as happened in this case.
As the saying goes, If you have to resort to personal abuse, you've already lost the argument.

A. Yes, LC has written rape. That's mentioned fairly frequently on the forum (although not by me). Just ask him.
and B. That's irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. I have never gone after him (or anyone else) about writing rape. (If you think so, cite it. You can't.) The hypocrisy I point to is how rabidly he goes after this while his bread-and-butter writing is incest, which is nearly (not quite, of course) as objectionable to many as rape stories are and nearly as illegal too.

You know it's funny, but some people get /real/ defensive about the word pedophile being thrown around and people not liking depictions of graphic underage sex.
