Out of curiosity, why does it have to be in her bedroom? Why not the comfort of your own bed?

Hey Kev, how did it all turn out? If you are still looking for advice, if your relationship is as open as you describe, then just ask her. The worst that could happen is an awkward conversation in which your bubble is busted and you find out that she never really was that comfy with it all. Of course that is it's own risk. Post an update, inquiring minds want to know.

First I'd say it sounds like you want her to be part of it as you will get gratification from being her room and her being there. I dont think this is a good idea personally. As to doing it in same room or her seeing you in your room is more natural. Do not force her to see anything she doesnt want. Remember her bedroom is her domain, her safe haven.
