I don't either, I just go with what my mind tells me is right. That's weird too, I guess. I don't know what it feels like to be a man fucking another man, but I've never watched gay porn to find out what it may "seem" like.
I really have to watch out for realism. I'll get slammed hard if it turns into a man fantasy. I've had PM's and comments, as well as feedback telling me so. I think it's harder for a man writing lesbian, than it is for a woman writing GM.

The themed ones - I'm writing in those this year because of Survivor and the mini-goal it includes - at least one story in all the themed contests. I like the challenge of writing the story - if I win great, if not, that's okay too - I won just by entering.

I thought about it, but the topics never sparked anything in me to write. I loved the Challenges more myself. Make your lover orgasm in 200 words or less, stuff like that
My worst problem when I started was running on and saying way more than I needed to. My first story to start was a 12 chapter BDSM piece. I couldn't figure out an ending and it just went on and on. I learned a lot about writing at that point and had the distinct pleasure of having Colly help me write good lesbian.
I have never had en editor, beta reader( don't even know what it is), or any formal traing of any kind. I'm scraping up all the high school English I can remember about grammar, punctuation and such. The technicalties of writing are wasted on me.
How the hell I got as good as I did, is a mystery to me. I just write from the gut and go with the feeling. Not a sane way to write, but it seems to work for me, lol

Morning!
I am in a killing mood this morning.
So another woman... who I will not say, is falling victim to a male bully. Of course she is telling him no,and to stop. and now he's on ignore. The problem is, then he just moves on tho the next woman, who may not be strong enough.
Makes my blood boil. really it does. when it happened to me, if i didn't have such other wonderful friends to fall back on I think I would have been devastated.
