I actually have a compass tattooed on me..but it has no direction on it. Only because, life is so unknown and I never know where my life is going to take me one day to the next. Right now I'm stationary where I want to be, but in 10 mins an hour a day a week a month or a year I could be in no mans land with no direction.
But it's not about me..but Inlove the premise about the compass.

So yesterday I was driving home a supervisor and as I was driving to where she lives for the first time, I was able to find the different landmarks pretty easily. She made the remark that I was like a human GPS or something......

P.S. I love that your compass has books behind it.
We need a compass to guide us, but the knowledge of others to help us.
