story title

Hi there

I'm looking for a story. It's a medieval warlord one which was on Lit awhile ago.

What I can remember is that there was a Princess Jocelyn, who was forced to marry a (Scottish i think) warlord by her father so that her virtue was protected.

They have there fights and at one point Jocelyn storms off in the castle and locks herself away from him. The warlord freaks out because his previous wife did that and killed herself. she was mentally ill if i remember correctly.

Towards the end there is a fire in the field where his brother is badly burnt and Jocelyn helps him.

Any info will be gratefully appreciated...

I think I read this one some years back...does the princess have sisters, one of which falls in love with the warlord's brother?

I vaguely remember the princess and warlord's wedding night being enjoyable to both even though the princess was upset about liking it and the next morning some kind of priest/holy man had to check her sheets...
