Not in the last 8 months.......we've had more than our fair share.

And it's still raining......and we have a leak .....in the conservatory, dripping down from over the sliding patio doors...........great.
Gonna have to call the Landlord. He can take it up with the builders.

Mood: Kind of sad. One of my friends is going back to Germany today. I'm gonna miss her :(

It doesn't help that I have no real plans for today, other than to touch up a chip on the bodywork of my car. What else can you do on a Bank Holiday Monday, when the weather isn't great?

It's been a while since I wrote anything... I dunnow if I have the motivation, though, because every single one of my pieces has had the shit trolled out of it recently.

:rolleyes: I'll admit it - I'm not in the most positive of moods. My mother's been away "having a break" for about a week, and now my father's decided he needs "a break", too, so he'll be going away to join her. In the meantime I'm caring for my grandmother - again. The last "break" my parents had was two weeks ago. The last time I was able to be at home and not be in the role of carer was about 5 months ago.

I'm whinging, I know...

Still freakin' raining. Has been now, for well over 24 hours without a break.

Pissy weather.

Going to alleviate the monotony with a trip to Tescos (groceries) and B&Q (for the colonials, think Home Depot, they are identical - and I mean i-den-ti-cal stores, right down to layout and colour scheme, it was scary first time I went there). Woohoo!!

*sigh* How freakin' pathetic is that?

Ok... where??? As I've said previously, I need to do this job for a couple of weeks to find out where it takes me, and where the best place to put myself is. I'm not prepared to take a 6 month lease out, pay for two phone lines to be installed, then discover that I'm miles away from most of the places I'll be visiting.

Not everything in life is straightforward.

Enjoy your Home Depot / B&Q trip... I'm glad I'm not coming with you, because I always get moved to tears in DIY stores. I don't know what it is about them, but I feel like slitting my wrists after about 5 minutes inside.

You have my admiration for going to two such places in one day :rose:

I went out and saw a friends band. They kicked ass.

I had reason to party, as Imp and I finished our latest today. It was already on the schedule for Phaze, so no need to worry about selling it. It was sold months ago.

Has a very sexy F/F scene in it, too. I'm biased, of course. But I do think it is a very damn sexy scene. I'd like to think our lesbian friends will enjoy this scene.

'Course, you know me. I always try to make everybody happy. I'm just a cheap slut at heart. :D
