Sybian worth the cost?

Hello!

This is my first post and I'm not sure it's totally appropriate. Feel free to chastise me if it isn't.

I'm... ahem... "toying" with the idea of getting a Sybian. I've read things online that make them sound fantastic, but often those things are at places where they are trying to sell or rent them. On more neutral ground I find more mixed reviews. Specifically some have said that while they are nice, they aren't really that much better than a good vibrator. I already have a couple of good vibrators so spending $1300+ for another one isn't attractive.

On the other hand, if they really are something special I don't mind spending the money. After all, you can't take it with you! Anyway it occurs to me that some of you here might have direct experience with a Sybian. I'm wondering what your thoughts are about them.

Let me add that I'm an experienced toy user so I'm not talking about this being my first sex toy by any means. I should also mention I'm not keen about the idea of renting or borrowing a sex toy so I've largely ruled that option out.

Probably the best thing about a Sybian is the physical sensation of mounting it, which replicates that of having a partner. Additionally, you can use surface vibe attachments or penetrative attachments, furthering your pleasure. The sybian also has variable vibration to suit your needs. Is it worth $1300, only you can be the judge of that, however I would suspect that it would have a much more durable vibrator device than most vibes do, on par with maybe a Hitachi wand.

I will say if you're willing to put some work into it, you can make your own for much cheaper. Unfortunately, it's hard to find a good, didn't just toss a sander and some power-tools in a box, guide (and you'll need some mechanical expertise) but if you're into DIY and are willing to spend time comparing notes across a few forums (like I said, straightforward instructions seem difficult to find) and look into some parts, you can make your own and even add some personal touches.
 
Thanks for your thoughts. I'm not very mechanically inclined so building my own probably isn't an option for me. Right now my inclination is to just go for it and buy one!

Yes, the Sybian is expensive, but you have to weigh the cost with the pleasure it provides. Some people take cruises costing thousands of dollars--guys buy boats or spend money on cars, so why not spend some money to feel good? It's well built, so it ought to last a long time.

Go to Google and enter "Sybian review." There are many positive reviews, and very few negative ones from what I've found. Some women claimed the Sybian gave them their first orgasm, and others claim they can't live without it.

$1300 buys a LOT of normal sex toys, even "luxury" ones. For that price you could have dozens of different ways to get off, dozens of new experiences. Can't say how any of them will compare with the Sybian though!

I agree. I have one with all the attachments. There is a stool for the man if you buy the storage container, which I did because it can be locked. The sybian site has videos of women riding the machine...and of course you can do research on the porn sites to see women using the machine.
