I sometimes see references to owning/being owned by others on this site. I know nothing about that lifestyle, but the verbiage would make me think that it’s about as intimate a relationship as one could imagine. But I’m curious...
Is it more or less exclusive than love? Is it at all related to love? Can you be owned by someone who doesn’t love you? Does it recalibrate your sense of attraction — meaning, do you seek out someone who will “own” you and hope that person turns into someone you love...or even just like? Or do you like/love someone and then develop it into a master/owner relationship?
Honestly, just curious how it works.
