Congrats to the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS “Special Contest” AWARD WINNERS

Grand_High_Poobah is Scouries in a blow up doll suit, one of his many alts.

Since there is no such thing as the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS (A.I.R.) associated with or from Lit, except in scouries head, it can't sanction anything but Scouries usual hot air. He steals stories from the Real Lit contest without the authors permission just to boost his own ego.

Since scouries and company can't win a REAL contest, he makes up his own list of winners.

DarkBoy.jpg

Yeah, those categories are really "spitting out 100+ vote stories"… sarcasm?

You see, darkboywhen you publish real numbers (I’m going to assume you’re numbers on number of 100+ vote stories is correct), you prove my point! (your one omission was that you didn’t point out that the two categories with “out of 250” – incest and ec – probably had quite a few more making comparisons difficult).

However let me see if I’ve got this right. Over 800 LITEROTICA stories have received over 100 votes in the last month! Is that correct?

And over 500 of them weren’t in INCEST and LOVING WIVES. FIVE HUNDRED!!!!.

Yes db “those categories are spitting out 100+ vote stories”. In fact after seeing your numbers it’s impossible to make any reasonable argument for allowing 25, or even 50 or 75 vote stories, to be allowed to win. They wouldn’t be among the top 1000 most voted on stories on the site!

Surely even you’ll concede that our readers preferences for winners in the “Readers Choice” contest can almost surely be found among the 1000 most voted on stories. Deny that and what little credibility you have left with anyone will be gone.

And please, before you try to make the argument that the normal contest period (16-25 days) is less than 30 days and too short to get the votes take a deep breath. All of us know 95% of the votes are received in the first week. Only a true dissembler would ever make such a dishonest argument. I'm pretty sure you're not that stupid.

Is there anyone on the site that stupid?

Yeah scouries, you are actually that stupid. Maybe you should go look at your other bullshit thread and see the real answer to your question. You can't baffle people with bullshit who have the facts.

suggestions1.jpg

And seeing you asked, here are a few more suggestions I made a long, long while ago (some date back 3 or 4 or 5 years). It lists proposed changes for the THEMED CONTEST system. I still like a lot of these ideas!

-More specific themes (Summer Lovin’ for crying out loud)
-Rotating and/or changing themes from year to year (Nude Day ran its course years ago)
-Limit on entries an author can make (l-r is a nut)
-Raising vote thresholds (to a minimum of 100 to start)
-Prohibit Sci-Fi stories
-Insist that the voting and comments buttons must be turned on
-Category specific contests from time to timeyour present suggestion
-Word limit restrictions sometimes (2-4000 words one time, 5-8,000 another etc.)
-An active rejection of stories that don’t meet minimum theme requirements
-The banning of darkboy from all contests and contest threads until 2015
-Vote transparency – sweep away the sweeps
-Rename that disgusting Non Human category Bestiality so that our innocent readers are forewarned
-Have a maximum age for contributing authors (I think 60 would be a good cut off point)
-Adopt the A.I.R. system of awarding prizes (most votes, views, comments, highest rating, best story)
-Appoint a contest moderator who will address and answer complaints and suggestions publicly
-Insist on minimum erotic content
-Charge a token amount (perhaps $10) for every contest entry
-Identify ALT entrants by tying the story to all LIT names the contributor uses
-Give a course on what constitutes a chaptered story, a serial story, etc.(perhaps the Jayman can give it)

And that’s just for a start… you should hear me when I get going…

Whilst I hesitate to dignify your nonsense with a sensible reply, for the sake of those who might be deluded by your rantings, let me examine your weird suggestions.

-More specific themes (Summer Lovin’ for crying out loud)

As in most literary and fiction writing contests, the themes are deliberately set very generally to avoid stifling interest and to encourage maximum submissions.

-Rotating and/or changing themes from year to year (Nude Day ran its course years ago)

See above. 'Nude Day' covers every category on Lit from non-erotic though to loving wives. A flash of flesh and you qualify. Don't be so anally retentive.

-Limit on entries an author can make (l-r is a nut)

I fail to understand your bete-noire. I just skip BFW's entries but would defend his right to make them. The site is a business and needs to promote as much traffic as possible. Any restriction on submissions is commercially stoopid.

-Raising vote thresholds (to a minimum of 100 to start)

This is the whining complaint from a fairytale incest writer who carries a grudge that he has never won anything. Each category has its own level of interest and it is only fair that the result should rest on how afficionados rate stories in their preferred genre. Bullying changes to disenfranchise many categories is just cowardly.

-Prohibit Sci-Fi stories

So childish and banal - unworthy of comment.

-Insist that the voting and comments buttons must be turned on

Fool! There is no reason I can think of to justify disenfranchising writers who want a bit of extra publicity but don't want anything to do with the fever of sweeps and scores and your unpleasantness that drove one of lit's favorite authors to give up- your poisonous presence during the contests is so negative to both writers and readers.

-Category specific contests from time to time – your present suggestion

Just an egotistical plea that a contest could be contrived such that you might scrape third place. Anyway, I doubt it, lovecraft and sr would whup your sorry ass.

-Word limit restrictions sometimes (2-4000 words one time, 5-8,000 another etc.)

WTF! This is an amateur site that encourages everyone to 'have a go'. The promotion of Og's fabulous support threads just prove how far out of left field you are with popular opinion.

-An active rejection of stories that don’t meet minimum theme requirements

Covered above - you are really anally retentive.

-The banning of darkboy from all contests and contest threads until 2015

Just a childish hissy fit - I'll ignore

-Vote transparency – sweep away the sweeps

No-one is fooled by you and your attempted manipulation of voting. The sweeps are essential to prevent deliberate negative/duplicate voting. It is incongrous that after a diatribe proposing more controls you suddenly advocate 'free love'.

-Rename that disgusting Non Human category Bestiality so that our innocent readers are forewarned

They already are and,for very practical and legal reasons, Non-Human will remain as the appropriate title. Look up 'bestiality' in your children's dictionary and you might see why you are talking out of your rear orifice.

-Have a maximum age for contributing authors (I think 60 would be a good cut off point)

Not worth reacting - banal.

-Adopt the A.I.R. system of awarding prizes (most votes, views, comments, highest rating, best story)

RLFLMAO -this is beyond parody or critique. You really don't live in the real world. Ask your nurses for a calmant.

-Appoint a contest moderator who will address and answer complaints and suggestions publicly

Laurel already does that - what's your beef?

-Insist on minimum erotic content

Why?

-Charge a token amount (perhaps $10) for every contest entry

This is a free site - go screw.

-Identify ALT entrants by tying the story to all LIT names the contributor uses
-Give a course on what constitutes a chaptered story, a serial story, etc.(perhaps the Jayman can give it)

Just a peccadillo of yours that no other readers or writers on the site share. If you think you have a modicum of support for your fantasies, try putting a few polls on the AH to gauge opinion. Uh sorry! I forgot you were too scared to come out in the light. Did the GB traumatize you?

Hey screwies, uh scouries, exactly where does one go to vote on your contest stories? Since it's a fake contest there is nowhere for anyone to vote, comment, or even view them. Oh wait, yes you can but it's on Lit and the Official contest.

Are you stealing stories for your contest? Well yes you are and not just contest stories but stories right of the new list page. Wow, how crooked is that.

Are you paying Lit for hosting your fake contest? I didn't think so. So in actuality, your Fake contest is spam on this site.

Expanding on what Tx said, if A.I.R. is an official contest, but branched off from Literotica (and according to you at one point "supported by Laurel") where can readers go to vote on the entries? In all the times you've publicized this contest, scrubbies, you have yet to show any contest pages or voting links. I mean if A.I.R. is so concerned with letting the readers be more involved, then there should be user friendly pages to read, vote and comment on the entries to the contest.

Of course it's an impressive list. And you are the only one who says so. You include yourself among some of the best authors on Literotica to make yourself look better. Fact is, you're mediocre at best. Most of the people you've mentioned have gone on to REAL WORLD publishing, while you're still here, writing family sex stories from your mommy's basement. You criticize others for their poor writing skills, well, scrubbies, perhaps you should take a step back and evaluate your own skills.

Sure you can claim greatness, but really how great are you when you're only published on a FREE porn site that anyone with a computer and an email address can get published on?

When you have success, REAL success in the REAL WORLD, then maybe we'll stop laughing when you continually toot your own horn.

Shouldn't you be getting your jammies on? It's just about your bed time. Funny, I bet you won't copy and paste THIS post on the Summer Lovin' Contest thread.

Since Grand_High_Poobah is scouries, I'm sure he will let his own story in his Fake contest. Only one problem. If Lit doesn't except it then how will anyone ever vote on it? But that doesn't matter to good old James, he'll proclaim himself the winner like he has in the past.

As for the other Authors that scouries says have entered his contest, exactly how does that work since they can submit to Lit but I don't see anywhere on the site to submit to scouries Fake contest.

All the stories scouries said are entered in his contest are stolen from the Official Contest list or from the New Story board and not entered in anything. Not even the Official Contest.

As for him being the number one anything on this site, it's all in his mind. He has never won, placed or even shown in any monthly, yearly, or special contest ever held on this site. He keeps talking about readers choice, well, it seems like they made their choice and he ain't it.

Just more lies from the biggest liar and fraud on lit.

Phew!!! Jimmy’s been let out of the doghouse… his story, “Jimmy T’s Family: Bk. 01: Mom”, has been unrejected!

But can somebody tell me what the “T’s” thing is all about? I mean it’s really ugly right in the middle of the title like that.

Anyway it’s a beautifully written story that I suggest you get a copy of before it sells out. The QUEEN only issued a limited number of copies this morning (is she trying to lower the real Jim’s royalties?) so buy it while you can.
