Uh... A little of both.

This is the second time this year I've had three or more weeks off work in a row. Kind of a preview of what retirement will be like.

For the last 40 years I've only been off when I wanted to be for the most part. My average work week is 84 hours. That's a lot of time to fill with "retirement." :rolleyes:

That's a lot of porn-watching, all right... ;)

But it's also a lot of writing time. And reading time. I think I've already amassed enough books I plan to read when I'm retired to keep me going for a good few years.

I'm pretty sure a man with your... active imagination could fill those 84 hours well enough... ;)

My copy had crap sound, but it was worth it.
All that faster-than-possible sword fighting was real fun.
And Brenda Marshall was a very pretty filly. . .

Hello friends!

I'm only stopping in for a quick drink. I'm feeling a bit low. Maybe it's because i've been cooped up in the house since the 26th with two very sick kids, or maybe it's because I'm still sick myself, with the seemingly thyroid related mystery illness that no one knows what to do with. It's very frustrating. I'm tired of the fever, the swollen throat, feeling like crap every day.

Fingers crossed that I don't get what the kids have on top of it!

Well, now that I've got that off my chest, I am still hopeful for a much improved New Year.
