The revolution has started

That's why it's a fantasy. You can't just simply boil the Frog by slowly turning up the heat. We already are on 11 on the stove we've already borrowed pretty much all we can borrow and she's talking about adding a huge entitlement program which we have no money for. Again the only way you can get that money so that you can write the checks to the hospitals, the drug companies and the doctors is to tax it specifically from the middle class who will actually revolt not pretend revolt or you can try to borrow it but as I've already explained you can't borrow it. That's why this is not possible.

Thanks for the larf, dumbdumb.

You don't need to even know how to do basic arithmetic this handy counter will show you what the numbers actually are in real time every minute of the day every day of the week.

Yeah it sure does show something else completely unrelated to what we're talking about.

Jesus Christ, honey.

2018 - Democrats regain control of the House

2020 - Democrats regain control of the Senate

2020 - Bernice Sanders is elected 46th POTUS

2021...Single-payer healthcare becomes a reality. We will finally have a healthcare system that benefits ALL Americans.

But hear me out. Sander's appeared to fold and submit to Hillary. Even after it was proven that she rigged the primaries. Many of those on the far left, Green party voters, progressives haven't forgotten that. I don't think Sanders can beat Trump this time, Last time he could have. Many progressives and far left liberals either didn't vote or voted green party. Trump on the other hand excites all of the far right base.

It will have to be someone else...like Tulsi gabbard.

I can't speak for the you part of "we" but actual, current, liabilities versus revenue (not to mention massive, looming unfunded liabilities) is very much the point that the I part of "we" was talking about vis-a-vis the inability to embark on her socialist dreams without actually taking large amounts of money (at the point of the fed's police powers, backed up with actual guns and the threat of incarceration) out of the paychecks of middle-class America.

Getting that money out of the middle class is a political, not a military problem. The middle class will pay whatever the IRS says they owe, subject to any reductions their tax lawyers can manage. That's the middle-class way.

2026 - The United States of America is now broke and unable to pay it's bills as all producers have fled the country leaving only the Political Class and the Moocher Class to struggle while clamoring for food and medical care. America has become a barren wasteland of poverty and a dead or dying population ripe for the take over by a now prosperous Chinese Republic a capitalist wonderland of riches and prosperity.

25.2 trillion and rising.... all without single payer.

I thought the caravan was going to take over the US..

Lol... could you have written that any more like a tool?

I don't get the hate against a little more in taxes. Personal health insurance payments would basically just be re-branded as taxes but people can't wrap their head around that. Of course there will be up-front costs but it is not the national debt emergency people are making it out to be.

The biggest issue against single payer is political. Health insurers and big pharma have way too much lobbing money involved and that reason alone should make the average citizen ask why.

That and because it is a liberal talking point. Pelosi and AOC really should start an anti-suicide initiative and let this whole ugly mess work itself out, Darwin style.

Because making something free will have no impact on demand.

The problem with Healthcare in this country started simply because quote a little more in taxes unquote. In order to get around that little more in taxes the employers found that they could offer healthcare insurance benefits to their employees without incurring a taxable benefit. That started the dynamic where the provider is three steps or more removed from the recipient of the service.

Taxes quite specifically got us into this mess and they aren't going to get us out of it.

Federal government monkeying around with student loans is the reason that in Education costs what it does because the person paying for it has no concept whatsoever about what it actually cause they can't even conceptualize what it's like to pay back tens of thousands of dollars. They have no point of reference.

OMG...you really should stick to something you know... and it certainly ain't sex.:rolleyes:

Let's add MOARRRR!

Or...lets stop sucking corporate cock and get SOMETHING for all the money that gets sent to Washington.

Lets start with NOT having a government shutdown over a fuckin wall. Lets NOT give massive tax cuts to the one percent and corporations...especially since it's been shown over and over and over that trickle down DOES NOT WORK.

You got nothing, why do you defend those that absolutely do NOT benefit you.?

2020 - Bernice Sanders is elected 46th POTUS

What a fucking disaster that would be.

Have you listened closely to how he says he would be able to push through his legislative agenda? By calling on people to take to the streets to demand Congress listen to the President.

He is out of his fucking gourd. We don't need an Angry Ex-Hippy Grampa of the United States, we need a President.

He doesn't just chug the lefty Kool-Aid....he main lines it in an IV.

The Civil Rights marches did have an effect because I think it had to do with changing hearts and minds. A lot of that had to do with the quiet dignity with which those engaged in that struggle conducted themselves.

The problem with the left is they didn't really notice that part of the history and just seem to think that being louder and more strident is going to get their way.

They chant, "This is what democracy looks like," and they are correct. Democracy is a mob demanding something. Unless that mob has guns outside the gates it's pretty unlikely that the mob is going to be granted their wishes just because there are formed into an a gry, shouting mob.

If there's not enough of you to elect representatives to do the thing that you want done it's not going to get done and I don't know why they don't seem to understand that.

I've never been able to figure that one out. They really did get no benefit. Why are they defending it?

These are the same people who said Trump was totally Hitler....and then demanded he take their guns away.

Seriously. That's who you're talking to. :D
