Garden of Eden
byGaia_Lorraine©
Garden of Eden

The Devil sat beside me as he placed his arm around me
I need his words of wisdom
And spend the night beside him
But I know that this is madness
And why I want him sat there
As he feeds me with God's nectar like a child
From tips of evil fingers
The taste of Eden's Garden
But then I asked a question
And he let the garden answer
"You will always be beside him
A raging flowing river
He burns your soul with fire
And you know that he will trust you
For he's filled your heart and body with desire."

Once you sat beside me and put your arms around me
And led me to your garden
With flowers all in blossom
We danced in pixie circles
Amidst the golden flowers
Refreshing April showers
Ran down our laughing faces like a stream
The taste of rainbow dewdrop
As sun shone through the tree tops
But then I asked a question
And you let the flowers answer
"You can never be beside him
The earth and moon together
Belong to someone other
And you know you'll never trust him
For his heart lies not with your life but with hers"

The Devil sits beside me and wraps his arms around me
And leads me to his Eden
Where pollen bees are feeding
Yet I know that this is madness
And why I want him lie there
While devouring his nectar like a gore
Amidst the autumn showers
The taste of blood red flowers
As I watch the petals whither
For no more shall he have her
As I take him to my cavern
But then he asks a question
And I let the raindrops answer
"You will always be together
As starlight in the heaven
Forever in the skies
And now you know what trust is
For you have killed each other with your lies"
