Women can still get pregnant on the pill.
Invitro is trying to get pregnant. Why would you have to stop it if a couple wanted a child together?

Yes. Women can get pregnant on the pill. Condoms break, quite often when not worn properly and since it's pornographic to demonstrate on a banana a lot of boys and young men don't know how to properly put one on. Again, firmly in your this is your fault category.
Who cares that they are trying to get pregnant. If it's disgusting to kill a baby accidentally conceived surely it's much much worse to create a dozen babies on purpose knowing you're going to destroy the majority of them.

Funny that conservatives are so gung-ho about unborn babies, but couldn't give a fuck about them afterwards unless they are stealing their car or decide to be muslim....
Let's see:
Conservatives are against contraception (comprehensive sex ed, condoms, the pill) but decry abortion.
Conservatives rail against abortions but won't chastize murderers/terrorists that bomb clinics
Conservatives are pro death penalty but are pro life...
Conservatives don't want social services but are for the military...
Conservatives are pro children but anti woman (female health, maternity leave, child care)...
Granted these are generalizations, but is anyone else noticing the fucked up priorities?? I'm going to be glad when as a country we realize that backwards religious customs are no way to run a country of +350 million people. Former surgeons general of the US have mentioned before the fucked up state of sex ed in this country and how there is NO scientific evidence that abstinence only works.
So conservatives of Lit, please regale us with your bullshit of explaining this one? Cause I'll call it even if you'll decide to rail on contraception OR abortion but you only get to choose one, because going on about both at the same time makes you look fucking stupid.

I thought it was her taking pride in being backward thinking while trying to ridicule forward thinking. It would be funny if we hadn't pointed out several ways she could think forward that would cut severely into the amount of abortions in the country but it's better to have a stupid God fearing population than an intelligent scientific community.

To me it's always been to follow the teachings of Christ. I have yet to find where he said persecute those that disagree with you, force your views on people, be passive-aggressive.

The Nazarene made "people so mad" they had him crucified. His chosen disciples (accept for Judas and John) were all killed by "people" because they, too, made people "so mad".

To me it means this......
I am a sinner. I do not deserve anything but to live eternally in Hell. God loves me and wants me to be with Him for eternity. I can't be there with sin, as God is perfect. God sent His Son to come to earth...live as fully God and fully human ....and to live perfectly. He was sacrificed on the cross to pay the price for my sins (and anyone else who chooses to believe they are sinners and want God to save them). Jesus rose again and is now with God in Heaven.
I am no more deserving than anyone else....I just believe it to be true...and try to live my life that would be pleasing to God and glorify Him.
I still sin, everyday. I ask for forgiveness, everyday.
I think I make people mad only because I believe God more than human beings. I don't believe God's standards or morals ever change, even if society's does. Of course, it would be nice to have friends here, but if the only reason I am disliked is because of my faith and standing up for God, then I suppose many will continue to hate me here.
