Joy and Pain

The joy of having a new idea inspired by an recent UK news item, really getting it down well in terms of my own standards and trying to have this site's appro from start to finish (not easy).

Also realising the pain to come in finishing two tales nearly at their completion, one of which has already run out of steam.

In my experience, when tales 'run out of steam', it's usually because you have taken a wrong turning. I usually put them to one side for a day or two (week or two), and then attack them with the pruning shears. It doesn't always work, but it usually does.
