Foods you hate?

I'm pretty open about trying everything.

But I just can't embrace brussel sprouts.

Seafood
Vegetables
Red meat
Vinegar or anything containing vinegar
Anything soy-based
Anything mixing too many textures
Dark chocolate
Beans
Condiments
Baked goods with lemon........

Let's just say, the list of things I will it is much shorter than the list of things I won't

I love brussel sprouts!

I can't deal with coconut. It's just eww.

And I like peanuts by themselves, but not in stuff like don't put them on my sundae or in a candy bar.

Oh and avocado! Ewww! I do like guacamole though, figure that one out.

Yogurt is a huge no. Just the smell of that sour crap makes me want to hurl. My oldest daughter wrote a poem about yogurt when she was little.
Yogurt is disgusting
Yogurt isn't cool
Yogurt is the nasty stuff
They serve to us at school

My granny made an awesome fruit cake. She made it and then put it in a tin and would leave it in the tin for like a week with a cloth soaked in southern comfort. MMMMMMMM

Really dislike, hate is a strong word....I will only eat them if a guest puts them in front of me.

Corriander/cilantro
Beets
Lamb

I tell my kids the same thing, hate is a very powerful word. They are smart and said well then isn't love powerful too?
I said yes it is.
But I agree...we reserve the word hate for stuff we truly hate, but I suck and slip up sometimes and toss it around willy nilly until one of my kids say Mom, don't say hate!

Stalk celery. Eeew!!! Too many diets hinge upon this truly revolting item to have any chance of succeeding.

watermelon
pineapple
red grapes with seeds
cilantro
anything spicy
guava
passion fruit
seafood except shrimp for some reason I like that
anything alcoholic
Pepsi
7-up
grape anything
artificial fruit flavors
Skittles
pistachios
almond paste..

wow this list is getting long so I will stop

sheep's eyes
snake
pickled eel
prairie oysters
kimchi
thousand-year eggs

(I attended a few too many diplomatic dinners in remote countries.)

I was going to say how many you have actually eaten..but I can see you might have.

I can eat one chicken eyeball..but not two. I would balk at sheep's eyes as well. But the others are fine by me.

I was going to look up thousand-year eggs but thought the better of it.

Oh, who am I kidding?

EW!

My now ex husband was in the Marines, traveled a lot, and said there was only one thing ever he couldn't stomach...balut.

I HATE brussel sprouts

I think you just haven't had them prepared the right way. Probably growing up they were served to you boiled or steamed and were a mushy mess. Try roasting with some olive oil and garlic.

Well, I don't exactly 'hate' eating these, more like extreme dislike.

Sauce
Weird animals and weird animal parts like eyes, hearts, genitals etc
Vegetables with crunchy seeds inside them
Chocolates and desserts destroyed with horrifying fruit flavours

I used to despise yogurt, amongst a lot of vegetables, but now I've grown used to their taste. Otherwise this would've been a long list.

This. A thousand times this.

Yummies! :)

For variety, instead of garlic use curry powder.
