Ok, youtube songs that fit your mood.

"this track gives me hard nipples" sez a commenter - I still agree. What they had that the others didn't: a good drummer.

Guitar player wasn't bad either sadly he now plays for a beatles tribute band Oasis I think they are called.:)

Not on youtube tonight but I'm listening to a mix from my other lappie, the one that is hooked up to speakers. I have it playing a mix of techno/electronic hard house stuff. Right now it's a techno remix of "One Night in Bangkok". It's pretty dancey and upbeat and mixed very well. Makes one want to dance like a retarded white boy. :D

Melissa Etheridge ~ Come to My Window

I would dial the numbers just to listen to your breath
I would stand inside my hell and hold the hand of death
You don't know how far I'd go to ease this precious ache
You don't know how much I'd give or how much I can take

I know I said I'd be okay, but for awhile I didn't believe that it would ever really happen. I think I might actually be okay now. Well there's a light at the end of the tunnel - and now I can see it. *nods*

WOW.... I wish I'd had this song on those nights when I cried become some slimeball not worth my tears ripped my heart out and then kept me close enough to just keep the pain fresh.. and to keep me where they wanted me.. I could have cleansed the wound and healed a LONG time ago

*nod* It's kind of a guilty pleasure 'cause it's Daughtry and all, but lyrically it's a great song. It really touches on some really poignant emotions for me, and yet it's so comforting.

I'm glad I could share. :)

*nods* exactly, it brought me back to being 18.. my first "love"... and the me of "now" saying them to the me of then.. or wishing I could so the 18 year old wouldnt feel like she was dying. And it's almost the comfort of that cathartic cry.. that cry where when you're done, you just feel peace.
