I think I had the Arrogant Bastard last time I went. Hard to remember because I was probably a few drinks in and forgot to record it on my app. Seriously, I have a beer log app on my phone. :D

Regular Blue Moon, sure. But their Honey Wheat seasonal is nice. Found your Maredsous 8 on there.

Fransiskaner Hefe-Weisen beats just about any wheat beer I've sampled yet to shame. However, Pyramid's offering on that comes close.

Kudos on finding Maredsous 8. Now get them to offer the 10. ;)

Besides my usual Mac & Jacks (I usually fill my growler[\B] with that), I like the Beer Valley and Boundary Bay IPAs. On their rotating handles, I like to find any new Northwest beers.

OMG john, you just made me shoot coffee out of my nose !

Growler obviously has a different meaning in sunny(!) Seattle... :D

This from the Urban Dictionary:
"growler
(Slang) vagina

This word was popularised by Bo'Selecta! and the character of Lorraine Kelly, with her famous phrase, 'Have ya seen me growler' as she parted her legs to reveal an unsightly mound of pubic hair."

Too funny...

LOL, no  It's a large beer jug. http://beeradvocate.com/articles/384 But glad I could provide some entertainment.

Ha ha ha! You are such a boy! :D If I only knew the first thing about apps I would ask about it.

Guys, the Traquair Ale is very specialist - I can barely get hold of it here in Britain. They make it at this totally cool castle in the Scottish Borders called Traquair House. That particular one was made at the time of the Jacobite Rebellion, LOL, that's why it's called Jacobite. But most Scottish ales are pretty good - Fraoch is a nice heather ale which is more widely available.

Of course, if you drink a Scottish pint, you have to have a nip of whisky on the side ;). (Well, I do, LOL.)

As an added bonus, I got to pop into the British Library on the way back to the station. God, I love that place. Just spending half an hour in that place is enough to feed the blackened, wizened husk that is my soul...

I used to love to go and work there; you can get the reading lamps I believe, for your bedside. They had quite a nice cafe too, is it still there between the escalators?

When you live in one of the "techiest" cities next to Silicon Valley, ownership of a smartphone is almost required. And it's handy too. I just type in the name of the beer, describe the taste in the notes, take a picture of it, and I have it ready to look up later. Of course, I have to remember to actually enter the beer into the journal. My "21 run" was a trip to Sonoma Valley to go wine tasting at the different wineries. I was given a journal to write all the wines down into.

Wine-tasting too, that must have been a great trip.

I had a lovely journey once driving down through France into Italy and stopping off to eat and drink on the way. We went to Reims, capital of Champagne. I liked it there! The cathedral was very beautiful too.

Ach I must buy a tent and take Piglet on the back of the bike there or something, LOL.

I see you are back to the sleepless nights! since you are chatting away the early hours. Better have one of those lovely heavy beers instead of a coffee.

Actually on cup #2 of coffee. Trying to finish up some edits and feedback for a fellow Lit Author....as well as update my DeviantART profile with my latest pictures.....as well as chat away here. Curse my ADD and insistence on multitasking.

There's a few places around here where we like to camp. One is Lake Easton, just east of the Cascade Mountains. http://sdrv.ms/NWz002

Gorgeous! That's it. I'm gonna get my main MILF friend on the case and buy a tent. Our old one got stolen and anyway it wasn't a very good one. I just need to figure out which one is the best to buy, there's a very cheap one in ASDA but I think I'll try and get something  which can go in the bike pannier.

Yeah! you should not be so responsible! Go to bed, and stop drinking coffee late at night. No wonder you can't sleep, LOL. I'm sure your fellow author will wait patiently. If you don't take care of yourself, you will crash and burn and then where will your fellow authors go to for editing? Never mind who will I be able to give backrubs to. Get a good backrub and go to bed!

You offering one? :D Actually it's not too bad. I don't have to be at work until late in the morning, so I can stay up a bit later. It's those nights where I'm up until 4-4:30am that do me in.

It's a fun place to camp. The best part is that it's only an hour from Seattle, right off the highway and nearby a small town to get any supplies we forgot.

OK, I will add it to my long list! I'm afraid it has to come after Valencia (top because it's near so cheaper) and Melbourne - the places where my two best pals live. Melbourne is gonna be a doozy! I don't think we can do that on the bike, LOL.

I will give you a backrub shortly, sweet thing. Right now I have to do my ironing, sweep and wash the floor, clean the bathroom, hoover Piglet's sty and then fill in some paperwork (yawn).

Hey, Piglet took her scooter to school this morning so I got to ride it home! That thing certainly can move - and it has flints on the back wheel to make sparks with!

Oh hullo dahlink! Sorry I skipped you, I was posting and didn't hear you come in. Rolf, Olaf! a v&c with a splash of 7u.
:rose:

That's funny. I am watching "Green Acres" right now, and I thing Lisa is a very sexy woman.

Of course. ;) Sounds like you keep that place pretty spotless.

Now that is a fun image, you riding the scooter. :D

Ha ha ha! I would be rolling on the floor laughing if it weren't so grubby.

Umm, yeah! It is gleaming. Ha ha ha!

, you are the business.

(I am a total slut. The place is knee deep in bits of cucumber peel from the makka kapi I made for Piglet's packed lunch this morning and piles of books I have to read in a minute, plus a whole mountain range of ironing! I have to move that into the living room shortly so I can get at the floor to clean it. I need Atlas or some other Greek hero to help. Well ... any fit young man will do, actually ;).)

Well, I'll stop by anna's first and show her how to post pictures on the forums, then come over and help you clean. Deal? ;)

Any rain coming your way to ruin your drying? Or does it look like clear skies?

Ha ha ha! that piccie made me splurt my tea through my nose. I'm gonna print it off and hang it over my housewife's calendar!

You can come by and help hoover any time, sunshine. Especially if you take your shirt off and burble about cars. I drive stick, mind. ;)

I love this story Lusting While Dusting. This is the Smash edition, although Aussie does post stories on here. He is my Facebook friend - he is so hilarious!

I rushed all the laundry through early this week because it was forecast rain. It's very pretty and sunny now, if my phone wasn't low on battery I'd be out taking piccies of the daffodils. But rain is forecast for the schoolrun time, grrr. It always splats down right on 3.30.

Oh dear! I didn't mean to make you do that. This appears to be the second time tonight I made someone do a spit-take, new record for me. Oh well, glad you got a laugh from it. ;)

Oh how many stories have I read on here about a young man doing "chores" for his neighbor or family friend, hehe.

Well, boo hiss. Looks like rain for the rest of the week. http://www.king5.com/weather/maps?radar=63609937&img=0&c=y&c=n
Huh, you don't have a charger nearby for your phone? Well, I would love to see them when you get a chance.

I let my phone run right down, as I read somewhere that preserves the battery longer. I believe things I read ;).

After this nice morning, it looks like rain here too - right through Piglet's three days camping out in the wilds of Wales at the start of next week . She and the fella will both come home on Wednesday laden with laundry - oh Jesu joy of man's desiring! Or MILF's desiring, anyway . Six tons of laundry and rainy days in Georgia.

Shove another bit of ska on the Youtube! and on with the floor clearance programme.

:)

Edited: just saw your comment about the scooter - LOL, it was great! Pink wellies and all, sparks flying ;)

Hmm, I don't think you have to do that with the newer Li-ion batteries, just the older nickel batteries. The Apple website does recommend running the better from 100%-0% once a month, but more for calibration purposes.

Just finished laundry over here. Ah, how nice it is to have clean polo shirts ready for work. Rain through camping? Eek! Make sure everyone keeps warm. Hopefully a nice campfire can still get started.....or a decent propane flame.

A moment of zen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpfcO4Yfw44

Ok, that ska video is just trippy. But it sure does have a cleaning tempo to it, LOL.

Oh yeah, I find ska and two tone excellent for cleaning. I love Madness best. Their videos are hilarious! but I can't watch those while cleaning of course. Let me catch your lovely zen moment (and scootering vid) in a sec, when I've done the floor - it's just swept and now I'll get the mop out. Something a bit different for this, perhaps. LOL.

East of the Sun, West of the Moon
The MILF dancing in her kitchen.
LOL.

Golly gosh, I'm not going camping with a bunch of primary school kids! I'm going to get two days all to myself. The other mums said: "You won't know what to do with yourself," and I just smiled.

Holy hell, you move fast with all that cleaning. Or maybe time is just moving faster than I realize.

What would you do with yourself? Pamper yourself while sitting down to a good book would be my guess. ;)

Nope. That's not my plan.

Are you still up! I was going to hoover the sty, but I think I better give you a backrub since you've lasted this long.

I am a slow mover, actually. I stop to bump and grind to the music while I go ;).

Now sit down here and let me get out the almond oil.

BTW, this is the scooter my Piglet has got:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pRXTl5N3D4

Of course I don't wear the baggy trousers, I have my tartan pencil skirt on today, and I don't mind a bit if people think I'm gay as I scoot along flashing sparks, cuz I am a bit gay, LOL.
