After 15 frantic minutes of searching, I found my coffee. O_o;; That's right, I lost my coffee and had to search for it. There's something very wrong with my brain today.

Maybe you should keep a spare coffee in your purse. Just in case.

An AI which knew nothing about the board game 'Go' becomes skilled enough to beat its already world record-holding AI predecessor in 100% of games within 72 hours.

How long would it take for this thing to hack the world's nuclear arsenal? ._.

Classic conundrum: how to keep track of your coffee before you've had enough coffee to keep track of your coffee.

I struggle with this. And other problems. Like, how do I summon the energy to make coffee, before I've made coffee?

I don't want to cause trouble, so if this is a problem please delete (but a PM would be super-appreciated). I was looking for a thread (The Earth Laughs in Flowers) and saw it was closed. Whyfor, please?

I was going to post about going plant-hunting tomorrow. One of our local 'garden museums' is having their annual plant sale. We've been living with "plain desert" since we moved in, and we're finally buying some plants for a few starter spaces. Desperately need irrigation first, before doing more serious stuff, but at least this will be a start. And that means we get a day out & about. Planning to stalk plants, then stalk stray cotton (it's harvest time here).

So, waving my green thumb in Lit's general direction.

I want to start a thread about depression but I can't think of a title for it that isn't depressing.

Why here in BDSM? Not criticizing Hiney, just curious. Is it related to sub drop or something, or just OT depression in general, like cookie did the small houses thread OT?
There is a mental Health thread in Talk....

I'd really like it here, if that's okay?

"The earth laughs in flowers" was both a gardening thread as well as a sort of personal blog thread.

I don't know all the details, but the Op seems to have deleted most or all of her posts, and somehow gotten a couple of her threads locked as well. Both probably accomplished with the help of moderators.

She is missed.

That sucks.

Time for a 'The Earth Laughs in Flowers - Redux' I guess.

Thank you for the info. I'm very sorry to hear that, she was one of my favorite contributors. I hope she is well.
