I am appalled that the show "Supernatural" seems to be my own personal brand of porn. It was always graphite. Lead was never widely used in pencils. Its called lead because it looks and acts a bit like it

Graphite is just carbon and is non-toxic. While ingesting or inhaling large quantities wouldn't be a good idea, it's not really any worse than the myriad of other particles we take in throughout the day.
