Well 20 views so far which isn't bad....Hope a few interested parties would enjoy playing detective and dealing with an alien invasion. I'm interested in creative people who want to write and not just post a few sentences. Let's have some good creative fiction.

Well 79 views and counting...have to be a few interested parties that like to write.

I might want to join...
Even though I shouldn't. What's the pacing going to be on this? Because I won't be able to post more than once a day if I do decide to join. And some days I won't be on at all. But I just watched the Faculty for the first time the other day, and I wanted to do something just like this

Greetings Alice,

Thanks for the interest and I hope I can answer your questions and get you on board. I looked at your Profile and believe you'll like this thread as well looking at Faculty. This is in the same vain to be sure in that aliens are slowly infiltrating, but you don't now how exactly. It's up to you amateur detective.

I understand time constraints and I tell people post as often as you like. If you go to the beach or have some draining days at work don't worry about it. Just let someone know if you're leaving them at a cliff hanger. I never demand people post often, but I do like quality posts. Meet someone for coffee you might do a bunch of short ones. Situation depending type of thing.

What type of character are you considering?

I don't know. Probably a Stokes rip off to be honest lol. The gothic horror nerd who figures out what's going on. Maybe more of the archetype than a rip off. Mine wouldn't be as nice. I don't really know yet. I'll wait and see who else joins before I start working on her. I do know she won't be in the detective club. She wouldn't join anything. She'd join the group later on, once shit starts getting weird. Or maybe she has a friend who's in the group. I don't really know yet

A goth woman investigating alien infiltration now that does sound interesting...not in the club, but with a friend who is can work. I'm waiting for others as well...lol I think it's a good idea. We'll see who else agrees.

So what other potential characters are out there to deal with this strange new threat.

Henley's problem was he lived in his own world. A world overwhelmed with nightmares and mysteries. And his fatal flaw, he listened his parents too much. He just always felt like he owed them so much. Without any real friends to call his own, he'd let his parents guilt him into finishing all of his homework, doing extra credit, and yes becoming a doctor. But he hated dealing with patients. He was too cold, too aloof. He had no bedside manner. But the dead he could get along with. They had mysterious that yes, his parents wouldn't let him explore, but he could pretend. So he dedicated himself to the dead. Understanding not how to keep someone alive, but to understand why someone was not longer living. He became a corner. And while he got many job offers, his parents were getting older and they needed at least one of their children around to look after them. So Henley moved back to his town.

A new Resident

Interesting and I think he will be very useful to the detectives...if he's social enough to go to some meetings. They will have snacks and drinks though so perhaps he'll do well. Feel free to fill out the bio and ask any questions. I only ask because I give out stuff based on what characters write....welcome aboard.

Well done sir...I shall give it some thought and respond back. I will ask since your character is a bit of a loner how might he be involved with the club?

He'll be a member consulting on it. It's not that he shuns people and contact, just that's how things end up more often then not. He might be an invited guest speaker on a particular case and comes back from time to time.

That works a regular speaker...often filling in and always there with advice. A honorary membership along with the monthly newsletter type of thing.
