It's such a stupid thing to say out loud, in the circumstances, that even he knew it was bonehead move. As is his custom when under stress for doing something stupid, he denied and lied. No one is surprised.
What's so strange about this momentary distraction is, after 8 years of neo-con bitching, pissing, and moaning about Obama's honesty, to be supplanted by more of the same about lying Hillary, they elect a man who is so inept at lying, he can't keep his story straight from one day to the next.
Sometimes, lying is a good thing, sometimes it's just expedient, but asking your friends to lie for you, to confirm your lies, is just plain stupid.

I don't know what he said. I didn't hear him and I have never heard a tape recording or anything else to prove what was said. I have read statements by certain people, but I have my doubts how reliable they are.
I do know I have read people describing various places as shitholes on these forums.
