That is a problem that I and others have with Lit. My wife was married the first time at 15 (parental consent), but by Lits rules she wasn't allowed to have sex. Maybe that's why she was divorced by 18 because she hadn't produced any children.

I think this map is not entirely accurate.

In Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi, those ages are correct UNLESS it is a family member, then the age is 12.
