Ah, a new face. Welcome to the cafe and the AH. I've had one of those days so I haven't been around. I hope you served yourself.
HP, I know you served yourself.
Today is the last Thursday of the year and I've spent most of it on the phone. Part of it was talking to my editor and part of it was a conference call with my publisher. More of it was touching bases with the other half of my publishing house. It seems my latest book sold out in three days and they are making a second run. That doubles my paycheck and then some.
Now I need to catch something for supper since I seemed to have missed breakfast and lunch.

Yeah, the first time I've heard from anyone from the publisher since i finished the final edits on the last book. One day out of two and a half months. They don't know it yet but my editor has the first three chapters of the new book and the overview and has had it for a month. I'm not supposed to even start on it until the first of February. By then, I should have it half finished.
