Hehe, well that's a first. Hanging off the side of a cable car while trying to hold onto my camera and take a picture.

Good morning Duchess, HP, and I have a hug waiting for anna when she arrives.

Here's a few Napa pics. Haven't done a blog entry yet for it. Off to San Fran today.

Nice shots, John. Napa is beautiful country. I've only been there once, and didn't have much of an appreciation for either wine or the country when I went. I'd love to take the wife there some day.

Evening, Nakeders and Nakedettes. ;)

Hullo TX! Where have you been? John, do be careful!

Hullo, Willie, HP. Beautiful morning here among the green green grass of home.

'Lo, Molly. Know what you mean. I love my blogs but sometimes weeks go by and I haven't put in so much as a cartoon filched off Facebook. Speaking of which, John, do you know if Wordpress has emoticons? Cuz I discovered to my horror that Blogger doesn't! What century do they live in?

Coffee anyone?
:rose:

What a good idea; Thank you.

Bright is the sun, brisk is the wind, and the rain forest is no more.

No need for a hat, then, LOL.
Here you go. No sugar, I think. It's been so long since I had the privilege of making you a coffee I can't bring to mind if you take sugar!

Wish I could say we have green grass here. Unfortunately, it's more like green weeds in my yard. Damn things are stubborn. Although, once I cut them all down, it does look rather attractive . . . for a couple of days, anyway. :p

Enjoy your coffee, by all means. I'm on my second and last beer of the night.

Mmm, a nice beer. What beer is it? One of your Arrogant Bastards? (Is that what they're called?)

I think I better stick with the coffee at least till I've done the school run, LOL.

I was thinking of you the other day as Piglet and I planted some vegetable seeds. As it's a nice morning perhaps we can pop out and see if any have germinated. One of my nasturtiums has come up in the strawberry pot - I must get a photo before my phone battery goes again.

Just a half please, Duchess. And it's been that way for many moons.
May I tempt you to join me ?
:)

Ah Willie, the agri-chemicals industry labours mightily and daily in your aid. Some of these weed-killers are rather good.
Just don't do it if it looks like rain!

The idea of you thinking of me whilst planting vegetables makes me wonder just what, exactly, you think of me. :p

No Arrogant Bastard tonight. I'm enjoying my Belgo Belgium-style American ale. It has a nice, sharp flavor.

Get on with your school run. Then come back and have a little Bailey's in your coffee. ;)

I won't argue that many weedkillers are good, but it also makes me wonder what else I'm putting into the soil. We're trying to remain as eco-friendly as possible, here.

Which means, of course, that I spend a good deal of time physically pulling weeds . . . .

Have you considered putting it on charge a little more often ?

HP, half a sugar, of course. I knew it was something like that.

It's when the battery gets low that I'm stuck. It won't take photos and I heard that you should let the battery run completely out before you charge it, although John says that's something-or-other blahdiblah batteries. I got a bit excited because it was technical speak so I didn't pay proper attention ;).

Mm, Belgo, very nice, Willie. We were planting cucumbers, you old FAWKer, you. I was thinking I'd swing by the specialist beer shop one day and see if they have any Arrogant Bastards.

Pancakes! I had sausages for breakfast but my greedy family ate them, so it's pancakes. Put your hand up if you want one (with bananas and chocolate spread :p)

Oh Gawd, who let wimmin get into something vaguely technical? :)

It could depend upon how old your phone is, but I suggest topping it up pretty often. It's not as if spare batteries are impossible; and that's if you ruin it.

Ah, I see. Planting cucumbers and thinking of beer made you think of me.

Um . . . I'm honored? :p

ETA: And I ain't old, dammit!

LOL.

Oh, well I'm old! You are all just cubs to me, y'know, dahlink. ;)

HP, it is an old phone and I must replace it soon. I'm just hesitating cuz I know they'll say I should get a smart phone and I just want a reasonably clever one that does what I tell it, not what it decided to do when it rubbed up against my hip while being carried in my pocket.

Evening everyone.

Glad you enjoyed the pics, Willie.

Don't worry, Duchess. The cable cars don't move that fast. I believe word press does have emotes, but not an easy tool to insert them. You basically have to enter an emote that WordPress will recognize and can insert its own picture. Uploading my San Fran pics so you'll see some shortly.

Slyc, you don't understand the new concept of weeds. They are now Native Plants and are the "green" green thing these days. :D

LOL, that's the truth. My favourite gardening columnist (a fox-hunting old Tory as crusted as his Oxford College port) is always complaining about the new fad for meadow style gardening. He clings on to old fashioned things like roses and tulips and actual, gasp, flowers! in his garden.

I follow him but you are being very trendy, Willie, in having a landscape that is au naturel. ;)

 TX. I have a shit-load of marking! (and ironing, LOL) but I am on your case v. soon!

John, I'm not sure the fact that cars are slow-moving is very reassuring if they are high up off the ground. I will go and check the piccies with trepidation!
