It was at lunch yesterday. I was sitting with some friends in a conversation, and i completely lost track of what people were saying. I hadn't seen her around the office before, but I've only been there for a few months, so I don't know if it's someone who works with me or someone from the outside...

this happens to me all the time. usually when i'm with the BF. someone delicious walks by at a store. we have a hot waiter or waitress. i play the eye contact game. get tongue tied. make fool of self. BF gives me hard time, pokes me in the rib. then he asks the waitress for, like, extra ketchup, and cocks his eyebrow just right, and all of a sudden she's a giggling pool of goo. *smh*

I find people attractive but I don't get that "Oh my god, I can't stop staring" feeling very often. The last time I recall was when I met the electrician who was sub-contracted to do some work at our house during a re-model last year. I got flushed and flustered and completely turned on every single time he was around. He gave me his phone number… you know, in case I had any questions about the wiring. I have not used it, but the temptation is off the charts real.

When I pick up my youngest from school, there was a hot dad waiting for his kiddo also. I admired from a distance, and then slowly I'd find a new standing spot closer. Eyes scanned for each other, smiles back and forths. Did this for a few years.

Last year. The ref at one of my son's games. Dear god that was one beautiful specimen. I missed half the game staring. But I didn't approach him. And I later found out he was a substitute ref from another section. I never saw him again.

I think I asked this question back around Easter. Saw a really attractive, girl-next-door type at a restaurant while I was having lunch with my mother. She was in the next section over, and I kept looking over at her. We made eye contact a few times, but I never approached. I still regret not at least telling her that I thought she was attractive.
