In August of this year, 74 police officers had lost their lives in the line of duty. That was one less than were killed in 2016, the last full year under then president Obama.
Since that time, there have been additional police killed including one in my home state this past week. That means 2017 will have more police killed than the previous year.
Despite this increase in killings, not one peep has emerged from anyone who was whining, bitching, moaning and blaming Obama whenever a police officer was killed in the past. Why is that? Could it be those who complained were having bouts of faux outrage? If X number of police being killed under a black president was so bad, why isn't X+ number of police being killed under a white president even worse?
For the record, in July of 2016 the con artist claimed there had been “a substantial rise in the number of officers killed in the line of duty — a very big rise.”
If one cherry picks only select dates, yes, there had been an increase, but only for six months. Overall deaths had been decreasing. In fact, there were more police killed the previous seven years before Obama took office, on average, than during Obama's term of office.
So the question becomes, when will there be chants of outrage for the increase in police killings under the con artist regime?
