Posting second chapter as Amazon book

Trying to gain ground as an author. Have a couple of stories that would each equate to three, 4 page stories on lit. Was planning on posting first chapter, then a book enclosing all the full stories on Amazon for $.99. Is this too shady? Would people be upset?

That is called a bait and switch, which as a rule most people are against.

Bait and switch. I think if Laurel cottons on to it, she deletes.

Yes, I think they would be upset. I would be. As KeithD notes, I think it's a take down if Laurel finds out.

I recall somebody pulling this a while back. Laurel wasn't impressed and neither were the commenters.
