G'ribb just smiled for a moment once they were allowed to say something in their defense.
"Actually we just might know something. However it's a bit of a long story, so do you mind if we sit somewhere?"
Sara raised an eyebrow for a moment, thinking. Finally she just nodded, motioning them to come inside the tent. The tent was a large military style, easily big enough to hold a small party in. Three tables were lined up in a row in the center, chairs along the tables. Several pads of paper, pens, plates of half eaten food and half drunk cups of coffee were on the table as well.
A table was set up in one corner of the tent, radio equipment with a young woman operating the system. An easel with a map of the state was currently displayed.
"Take a seat, but we are watching your actions."
"Fair enough. Though we have no quarrel with you, miss..."
The others took a seat, voicing their agreement, Lira all smiles. Thar'tux and Gya sat next to each other, examining the objects on the table. Lira made a face when she tasted the coffee, pushing the cup away from her.
"Sara Dunbar. Now will you tell us what is going on around here? You are the first contact we've had in nearly a month."
Thartux peered at the woman for a moment, trying to see if she was lying before looking at the others. Al had followed them in to protect Sara, not liking the silence exchange between the group. He started to lift his rifle before Sara motioned him to stand down. G'ribb spoke up, since he seemed to become the face of the group.
"A month? The things are lining up just a little. Here's what we know..."
G'ribb started to lay out everything that had happened to them, starting from the discovery of the breach in their world. He tried to tell everything as best he could, the others having their say as well. They of course let out the parts about their sex, at least G'ribb and Thar'tux did.
