Is it just me or do the commercials suck this year?

They are sub-par. I only really laughed at one and I can't even remember what it was and none have tugged my heart strings and I have yet to see a Clydesdale.

Not to mention the discrepancies:
Bull riders don't ride holsteins and Vikings don't fly the Jolly Roger.
