Tolyk's Gallery

Your photography is breath taking. I love black and whites, so of course the first picture was my favorite. The simple contrast makes you look at the picture/view itself and I believe you look more deeply into a photo when it's black and white. At least I do. I look for the subtle details. Like the Sun rays that are so concentrated in this photo. At first you eye goes to the mountain scape, then you take in the whole view, but when you focus, it's the sun rays that hold your (my) eye captive. All of the pictures in this posting were beautiful. Thanks for sharing a little of Alberta with us.

Thanks Lyerin and Apple_of_Eden

Apple, I'm fond of B&W as well, but also of colour :)

And, here's a few from my trip yesterday:

Tolyk, your pictures give a new meaning to "God's Country!" They are truly breathtaking. You are a lucky man to have such beauty in your backyard, so to speak. Thanks again for sharing.

And, here's a few from my trip yesterday:

Absolutely breathtaking!

I think Canada is a country of such beauty. I LOVE it. The people are incredible and a Montreal steak is great. To see a storm in Northern Ontario and to have a lunch in the Lake district. I liked. Winnipeg and the Ukranian food was so good and friendly

I agree Nicki, it's a beautiful country :) And as more evidence for that fact I present Lake Louise

A great one, Tolyk. Perfect wintry halftones set off by the green of the glacial lake and the touches of warm browns on the near and far shores.

Wonderful images, Tolyk. I think the night sky and the early morning blue are my favorites at the moment. Tomorrow I might say one of the waterfall is my favorite, or the path in the forest, it deeds on my mood of the moment.
