You know you want to. You feel that one of us had judged you unfairly, or picked you out of a croud, and now want to know Whhhhhhyyyy meee!

Anyway, ask here, and I will try my best to answer without attitude, falsitude, or any other tude that may get thrown around here,

There were some hotlinked pics removed from this thread because they were in violation of the rules.

It was my understanding that harder core pics were allowed if they're hosted off-site. Can you clarify?

How can I delete a thread that I have created?

The threads that I wish to delete are...

You can PM me your answer or post it here.
You can't. Only Moderators or Administrators can remove a thread.

If you would like to request a thread be deleted, send a PM to one of the mods for that forum, and we will try to get to it.

Keep in mind though, it's something we do as a courtesy (not a requirement). I usually delete all threads I get a request for . . . but the best way to have it done quickly is to edit out the information you want removed, yourself.

Thanks for the question!

Paen

ETA: I removed those for you.

Thank You

I know we go ape at times about mods, but thank you, Paendragon, for helping Shampoomohawk!

I thought I was supposed to get a warning about removing a thread before it disappears!???

I usually try to give a warning, or have the offending pictures removed by the poster rather than myself.

It's not always possible, though. Sometimes we're inundated with SPAM, or violations, and we're pressed for time (this isn't a job for any of us, we all have careers) and we will have to delete the thread. This is especially the case if there is more than just a few offending pictures.

The sticky on the top of the AmPic page explains that deleting is a possibility.

I'm sorry if it upset you. We do try.

What is up with the lax policy towards racist trolls and flame/racebaiting political threads?

This thread is about Am Pics.

If you're referring to the General Board, that's not moderated.

When you post to a thread, hit reply, and scroll down until you see a "manage attachments" tab. By hitting that you can see two options, either uploading a picture directly to Lit, or by entering a url into the box. Once you save either you hit submit reply to post.

You can give it a shot here if you want.

Quick links

I once saw someone post a link that just showed a list of the pics they posted. Not an index, but some sort of back end page? How do I do that?

Words (links) edited to stars

The seems to be a list of sites, then when used in a link, have the domain name changed to all stars. In fact, using the site name anywhere gets it starred out.

In particular, ****** is ("yu vu tu" no spaces, 6 letters) is always starred out.

Now ****** is the same as redtube, xhamster, youporn, and a dozen other sites that allow people to post sexually oriented clips. ****** tends to "amateur" or user-created content, just as redtube tends to professional promos/samples.

So what puts just one of these very similar sites on the black list?

PS: All asterisks in this post were inserted by the posting mechanism, and were not in the user submitted text.

Some sites are blocked for differing reasons. It could be that some content is not allowed here, or they have a link to a competitor forum of Lit, etc.

Which sites are blocked is the purview of the site owners.
