best lube for anal

First, I'm sorry if this is a repetitive question or if this is the wrong board but it seems like the best place to ask.

What lube do you like for anal? I used one once that was great. Long lasting, perfectly slippery but damn it, I don't remember what it was.

Everyone has their preferences, and ours is definitely silicone lube (for pretty much everything, but especially for anal). You don't have to use a ton, it doesn't dry out like water-based lubes, it's hypoallergenic and SUPER slick and silky. Silicone is also latex-friendly. The only caveat is it's not compatible with most toys that contain silicone.

K-Y always worked for me; water soluble, good as a general-purpose lubricant for both PIV and anal, works well with condoms, lasts long enough not to require frequent reapplication. Apparently, though, the really serious cognoscenti recommend the silicon-based lubes.
