Only the good die young.
did you know that billy joel wrote that song about john belushi?

btw... i've been listening to "blood on the tracks" for over a week now. either i'm really in the mood for it or too lazy to change the cd. dylan's 65 today.

Blood on the tracks is my favorite of all Dylan cds.
i've noticed that this seems to be the general concensus among fans and music lovers.

suddenly I turned around and she was standing there
with silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair
she walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns
come in she said I'll give you shelter from the storm
this lyric is somewhat more cerebral than "mmm-bop" IMO.

A very good friend of mine just pointed out to me that we graduated from high school 15 years ago today. Yippee.

Mine doesn't exist, either. The building does, but it's a different school now because the school district consolidated some smaller high schools.

Probably. ;)

But then I wasn't even two years old when my husband graduated from high school, and when he started working as a trooper, I hadn't even started kindergarten yet.

Nope. We weren't in the same part of the state. :)

Stupid nest-robbing bastards! Next time I'll LET my cat eat your babies!

My head hurts.

No matter how old I get, it's always nice to get a call from my mama, just checking up on me. Apparently I am not calling often enough.

it's a good feeling to know that some people I work with really respect me and what I do along with what I am able to do, despite the general aura of the place that women, especially younger women, aren't as competent as men are.

I think the thunderstorm is gonna force me to leave Lit for the night.
