Very proud of where I live - it might be boring but when city people come here they are amazed at the beauty of th welsh countryside

I think I've hit the metaphorical wall. I am beyond tired, but gladly home now, boy retrieved, cuppa on the go, dinner in the oven.......and after that it's pj's and chilling on the sofa til bedtime.

Afternoon, all!

Sorry to hear about the pervasive tiredness on this thread. I feel knackered as well after a relay race yesterday evening, a heavy day of work today, and the hint of a developing head-cold throughout both. I'm managing to remain quite bouncy, though (possibly another run this evening!).

Oh, nothing serious really - just stupid work stuff - timings going wrong, suppliers sending the wrong materials, customers delaying payments, etc.

I was literally banging my head on the desk by home time, though... the thing about being the boss is you can't even threaten to resign if you're having a bad day!

And Daisy, they teach courses on delusional at some management schools I think

In the middle of the economic downturn, with 7 consultants and enough work for maybe 3 of them, the senior director of my old company told us that the goal was to hire 2 more consultants before the end of the year.
