I wrote a non-human piece I would like another set of eyes to look at for me. I am new at this but I would really appreciate some constructive criticism and editing.

Edit: More information for the story
It is about 5400 words. Nonhuman i believe. The story is a detective's girlfriend dies but returns from the grave to help him solve some cases. It only involves ghosts and humans.
