"East bound and down, loaded up and truckin'
We gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there
I'm east bound, just watch ol' bandit run"

Still a good song - Eastbound and Down.

:D

Take a wrong turn, and you you could end up:

... Southbound, Lord I'm comin' home to you.
Well I'm Southbound, baby, Lord I'm comin' home to you.
I got that old lonesome feelin' that's sometimes called the blues.

- Allman Brothers Band :)

My grandson, when he was a lot younger, used to love thos Bandit films (I giggled a time or two myself).
Loved that music, Mags.

Penelope Pitstop.

PS. Who was the voice of Dick Dastardly ?

There were several over the years but I think the infamous Paul Winchell did most of the original cartoons.

Now, without Googling it, what screen name was made famous by an animal named Bamboo Harvester?

Without Google, I wouldn't even know a Bamboo Harvester was.

Was that horse related in any way to some beast called "Combine Harvester" ?

For some reason, that reminds me of an old Pete & Dud sketch about someone who was 'born out of wedlock' - the wedlock being a terrifying beast, half steam engine and half padlock. :)

Ah, I was a huge fan of non-fiction books about horses as a kid - Man-o-war, Black Gold, Secretariat, to name a few. I knew exactly where they all were in my elementary school library.
