Yes, I discovered today that I've been living a lie. Cyrano Johhnson is my pseudonym, or will have to remain so... but the pseudonym of my heart, the pseudonym that should have been, is very clearly Langston Huge.

It was worn by another before me, and I now see I was meant to pick up the mantle after him. Woe, that I have failed! It is a heavy burden. On the other hand, perhaps I now have something to strive toward. A 'nym of which to be worthy. Perhaps the Huge name may yet live on. Who can say?

Post whatever silly stuff about 'nyms comes to mind here, if you feel moved.

Malcolm XXX is actually kind of amazing.

The name I go by now-My real name, not pen name. is technically not my real name.

I was named after my piece of shit birth father and when at 22 I realized I was becoming him in many ways, I made a lot of changes including my name. I legally changed my last name to that of my foster parents and my first name as well.

One of the characters I created has the name I was given at birth because some of what he went through is based on true events and he was a raging psycho like I was back then. (This is where people say...was?)

On a lighter note a female author who started self publishing asked me for a couple of suggestions. One name and something that could be either sexy or a little humorous.

I gave her Pornelope and Sinderella. For a game you can search either of those on Smashwords and see which comes up.
