Wondering why women just can't come out and say what their issues are with male Lit writers. Oh, I know. It's either women still get called sluts or told they really like women but just can't admit it. Or, the op is a male jackass or male writer who can't get a rating above a 3. And the op thinks his/her thread is the best fit for this forum.

I posted a picture on this forum for my Master (HandsintheDark). Lovecraft apparently saw that original post and accused HandsintheDark of creating a sock puppet and taking the picture off a porn site to prove something. That is just not true. Hands pointed this out to him, but he again claimed that I was just a sockpuppet. I decided to go ahead and dispel those rumors.

I believe there was a request for an apology that went along with this issue. I won't hold my breath for that.
I can wait on all of it, but this thread is conclusive as far as I'm concerned. And I've been there on this sort of behavior from LC.

Pilot, I have a life outside this forum. Besides working full time, I've been dealing with death and loss, and recently finding out a close relative has been diagnosed with the bastard disease of cancer. I think most people are in a fog for various reasons. Finally, the issues between LC and Hands should ideally be settled privately between them, because there is enough Lit bs to deal with without a thread like this.
And your behavior history on Lit does not qualify you for anything but an award for being a whiny jackass at times. Yeah, I know. I can only imagine the award some Lit folks want to bestow upon me.

I just had a 40-year-old nephew die from seven painful months of a rare cancer, during which we transported him around to a bunch of cancer centers up and down the country. I don't use that as an excuse for anything here, though.

LC's been telling lies for a couple years now. (He might even think he's right, but that's even more disturbing.) He finally spouted a lie that could be proven wrong, and as a result he just got his ass kicked by a girl less than half his age. That's what happens when you know nothing but just have to keep shooting your mouth off.
He's going to ask for this thread to be deleted, of course. He can't deal with the fact that he's been caught in baseless slander. But that's fine. As pilot points out, no one is going to forget this.

TMI? This is someone defending herself against a blatant lie by a known liar. Lit will do a public service by leaving this up indefinitely - or at least until aperson decides she's made enough of a point. At any rate, if this is TMI, so is most of what gets posted over in AH. Feel free to ask for LC's attacks to be pulled down in the name of TMI, since I generally don't see them and can't be arsed.

If you feel so strongly about this, file a slander suit in court. Meanwhile, you need to give some thought about how your personal life as a Lit writer has spilled over in the forums. It's hard to have any respect for you as a writer, when a 20 year old woman thinks she has found the perfect Master in you. A 20 year old does not have the experience and living to tell you that you are a crock of shit for praising her for what she's done publicly. geeze. And I thought I had seen everything on Lit.

You mean like today (well, yesterday now), after LC talked of his wife as a sex kitten, he mentioned the university she teaches at and the course she teaches. No one has talked about their personal life on the forum over the years more than LC has.

Ah yes, because just saying in a text post that "hey, I am a real person and totally not a sock-puppet" would have been so believable. It isn't like Hands already tried to go that route. No, he attempted some amount of diplomacy and that was rebuked. So I provided irrefutable proof because I don't roll over on my belly when wrongly accused like you apparently think I should. I have a backbone, something Hands appreciates even if you don't. Somehow you think my age invalidates my ability to make character judgements, but I think I've chosen better friends here than you have, if you run around defending LC. I understand that somehow this whole thread is offensive to you, but at least try insulting me in a logical manner?

I'm still waiting for your 20 year old partner to comment and post pics about how terribly you have been wronged on Lit. And yes, that would be extremely silly.
What I am saying is this: if I remember correctly, Hands is at least 40 years old. That he would allow you to be drawn in publicly into his ridiculous mutual rants with LC is something even a 20 year old writer wouldn't do. Most people ignore the interactions between Hands and LC for good reason. And Hands has had his issues since day one. It would be lovely if they could ignore each other. I can defend LC because I know that he is not the person that Hands and Pilot portray him as. Hands and Pilot have frequently posted offensive crap about others. And LC does as well. Surely, your relationship with Hands could be kept more private, and if you need to create a thread again, maybe the How To or Author's forums would be a better fit.
