Finding out that my staff phone plan will continue to operate until the phone is paid off in late 2009, even though I'm no longer staff.

Two things today!

Another wonderful PM from someone wonderful....

And a comment about what a certain someone wanted on his face.....
 
i made my car happy by changing the oil, flushing and refilling the coolant system, putting Rain-X on the windshield, and, talking all lovey-dovey to it.

i made Al Gore and Barack Obama happy by replacing my air filter, inflating my tires, and, recycling the oil and plastic jugs.

i made myself happy by getting all dirty and grimy and sweaty :nana:
 
Walking to and from the local shops, as well as doing a fair amount of window shopping/shopping and all without passing out or doubling over in pain...and exercising my hand throughout the afternoon and increasing it's flexibility....still pitiful and painful, but it's a start and more useful already.:)

Flying to NC to meet a SPECIAL friend for a special escort to a function...

and the excitement of knowing I am going to meet her face to face today and I cannot wait..

Nah, it was fine today. We got there early and left early-ish.

Arrived at 11.15, had lunch, then shopped til 4, then came home.

I used to hate the place.... I very rarely went there when I was in sheffield... Then again my only experience of it was around xmas time, and then it was never nice! lol...

Thats because you go at xmas when EVERYONE goes! :p

Going when its not xmas and NOT the school holidays is best, but me and my mate are off work atm so it was the best time for us to go.

Partly cos it was xmas and all the decorations were so taccy, and partly cos i just think there arent decent shops there, or they never have any good stuff!

Glad it worked out for you though :)
 
No decent shops?!

It has Ann Summers, a Disney Store and an Evans, as well as a Zavvi, so for me its heaven!!
